Voluntarily Dismissed Bankruptcy?

    I just wondered if anyone would know how to tell if your Bankruptcy is listed as voluntarily or involuntarily dismissed?

    Anybody know this answer? This is a pressing question in my life right now.

    Don't confuse discharged BK vs. Dismissed BK

    Dismissed means that the BK process was dropped - not completed .

    If voluntarily dismissed it means you petioned the court to drop the case.

    If dismissed by the court it could be form many reasons, bad filing, etc.

    If your BK was DISCHARGED then it went through and Dismissal has nothing to do with it
