Has anyone had anything major like a reposession deleted from their report before?
I have no negative credit history for the past 4 1/2 years so I'm working on removing the old stuff. I have a repo that's due to come off 3/2002. Because of it, I am not able to get credit for ANYWHERE, except my high interest car loan which I've paid for 3 years with no lates.
My eloan score was low, according to them, because I have no revolving accounts, or something like that. I have no accounts, except the car, because of my credit so it's a no win situation.
So I'm wondering if I should dispute this & hope that they don't reply & remove it.
Also, any idea how many points my score would improve when this is dropped?
    Thanks.

folks here have had repo's deleted from their credit reports , just try a search under repo, deletions and you should find it. Since it is scheduled to come off early next year, I would try disputing it with the cra. It will probably come off early.

Just toss a bunch of numbers in to a hat and draw one out. That's about as close as you can get!

A caveat; DO NOT try this if your repo was with GMAC. They play hard ball, and do not slack up.
