I have done all my disputes online, but in this case CRRR is best. You want them to receive them, but be backlogged. If you notice, when you dispute online, the item shows immediately as disputed. This way, they sign for a ton, it takes an extra few days to get them all in the system. They get backlogged. My goal actually is to miss the Thanksgiving holiday, and aim straight for Christmas and New Years. I figure that w/ Christmas in the middle of the week, that week is pretty much shot. Then, the next week is New Years. I'm aiming to have my disputes be due around the 2nd. I'll be doing all 4 of my hubbys per CRRR. I dont' want to give the CA's any chance to tack on 15 more days@
Well, I have a different approach. i am planning to dispute online on the 27th. That way the clock starts ticking the day before Thanksgiving, and the 30 day period ends on Dec 27th, smack in the middle of the christmas/New years holiday when everyone will be off. THis date and method maximises the time that they have the dispute during actual holiday periods, which is the point, right? I don't think it makes a bit of difference between CRRR and online -- the risk is only that they will not sign for the letter if for some reason the mail is slow and it is delivered during the holiday weekend -- no one will sign for it and you'll lose the benefit.
