How long after you apply for a credit card would you wait to apply again for the same card? Is it just a matter of raising your score and/or paying down some debt before reapplying or is there a time frame from which you wouldn't try the same place again for say six months? I applied for a card back in March (Mervyns) and was denied. I would love to have that card but am wondering if I should reapply. My scores are higher now but I don't want to have two rejections and two hards from the same place. Same with the Target card. I applied and didn't even get the Guest Card.
