Thank you all. I worked all night and will read more when I've had a bit of desperately overdue Beauty Rest....

To those of you who said talk to the BK13 lawyer....well, that's not possible since he is now working with the firm representing WAMU (who is trying to forclose on me)

Yep, its a huge conflict of interests, but the BK13 judge said it was OK!!!!

Spoke with another lawyer this AM....looks like the best course may be to simply dispute the validity of the debt since I've never gotten a payment history that could be mathematically rationalized and I've had the loan more than 13 years and they just sent me to collections on 6/28/04....

Theoretically that should stop further collection action including the forclosure....and hopefully force them to account for my payments....

Katie, is it with a collection agency or the original creditor? OCs don't have to validate I belive and if this is true, from what you say they sound dumb enough to just maybe do it anyway.

IF you do send a validation anyhow, and they don't respond, I've seen some people here use planetfeedback.com quite successfully (because the complaint goes to the TOP of the corporation - by passing the middle jerks).
