    got 6 potentially negatives
    1. central financial control collection account for 353.00 reported from 09/05 to continue on record until nov 2011
2.nco-medclr, paid in settlement, continue until oct2010, 101.00
3.nco-medclr, paid in settlement, continue until oct2010, 35.00
    4.nco-medclr,paid in settlement, continue until oct2010, 27.00
    5. nco-medclr, collection account for 39.00 until nov 2011
    6. verizon wireless account charged off?, $1056.00 until jun2014 this one i tried hard to work out with verizon but they did not help. charges were definitely not mine. they were downloads of music that i would never listen to and made at times i would have been asleep. they said they were valid because they were made from my phone but i know i did not make them, so i decided it was not fair to pay

i have been reading some threads and still can't seem to understand how to go about getting these items fixed or if they can be fixed at all

i am 25 years old and would like to fix my credit because my dream is to own a home but with a credit score of 567, i know it will probably be impossible to get a house.

    any help would be appreciated

If you haven't paid this, you might see about a pay for delete (i.e. pay for "don't verify").
If these are paid, then just let them fall off next year. You could spend a lot of time and money hassling with them but it would probably take about a year to get them removed anyway even if you made a fuss.
This is also probably not worth the trouble to dispute, but it's also probably not worth the trouble of paying, either.
So you decided not to pay, they decided to post it to your credit report. Sounds like there was a breakdown of communication somewhere along the way.

This is probably too late to resolve with the OC and could cause you problems with future collections in the future. You might need to pursue a civil action (lawsuit) to get them to deal with it and not ignore you, but that may or may not be more trouble than it's worth. It just depends on how good your record keeping was while you were disputing it. If it comes down to your word vs. theirs, you might have some trouble. I would research this further to see if there are similar complaints against verizon and, if so, how they were resolved.

    thanks for speedy reply

I appreciate your prompt response. I will go ahead and mail out a deletion letter that I saw here. As far as verizon goes, I did not keep track of the times I called and what the responses and I don't have any of the bills since this was about a year ago so a lawsut might not be a good choice, I think. So I am thinking of doing a deletion letter also with this one or should I report to the credit agencies as not mine? I saw many sample letters, but I don't know which is the right one to use.
