Re: the bombing and destruction of the Twin Towers: This, obviously is war, and calls from extreme and swift retaliation. As of this time, the news announcers are repeatedly mentioning bin Laden as a possibility, and saying that this is "retaliation" for U.S. support of Israel. If so, there are definite Arab countries that should be bombed and incinerated.

I can only hope that this attack causes Americans to end appeasement and demand heavy retaliation from our government. And I'm sure glad it isn't Gore who is in office.

Write your congressmen and senators and demand complete retaliation!

    JUST TWO QUESTIONS...

WHAT COUNTRY DO WE GO TO WAR WITH?

DO WE GO TO THE BOARDER AND START MARCHING IN WITH ARMY GUYS AND TANKS, OR DO WE DROP A BOMB ON IT LIKE JAPAN?

Iran and Afghanistan, and we drop bombs to incinerate them, totally. They are the root countries who hate the US, pay for the terroists, and agree with their methods of "discussion."

    WAR!

We are at war. It is going to be a long, long war. We must be prepared for the consequences.

Don't forget Iraq, Libya, and Sudan. They should be very afraid right about now. Particularly after Khadaffi's reported initial reaction, which was, essentially, "Well, what did you expect?"

I've had this old Kenny Rogers song running through my head for awhile; Coward of the County. Like Tommy in the song, the quiet confidence of the US, and our generally meek response when provoked has long been mistaken for weakness and cowardice.

But you can hear a pin drop while W stops and locks the door.

There's going to be a number of very unhappy countries before this is through, because none of them are going to be able to sneak out of the room.
