I have a question concerning the credit repair. I read somewhere that if "they" figure out that you are trying to repair your credit (solo or w/ firms) they retaliate. What steps can one take to stay under the radar and not be detected as attempting to repair their credit. My agency sent a letter and one of the lines in the letter stated " I am not using a credit repair firm as I know you do no like them". I thought this was so so stupid and immature sounding..should I drop them?
TU tries that "if you are using a credit repair agency" letter, all the time. Ignore it. And there is no retaliation...not legally anyway. Bottom line is that the law requires only accurate and up-to-date information on your report. So "repair"ing the MESS that is out there is well within your rights. -Peace, Dave
