    Oh that is so sad to me. I do not like CitiFinancial and they seem to be taking over in many ways.

    The took over CalFed Bank, then the took over Home Depot Credit, now this.

    If they take over Washington Mutual Bank that will really be sad.

    They're not taking over the bank itself, but their alternative finance department - www.wamufinance.com

    I think it's a good thing for this department.

    As far as their bank being taken over, Citi already issues their credit cards. Who knows how much longer it will be before they are bought out by Citi.
