Has anyone had any dealings with FAIRBANKS CAPITAL CORP. or OLYMPUS SERVICING? They are one in the same. Just curious if anyone else has had any problems with these jokers.

Yes! Olympus bought our mortgage about a year ago, and then back in sept it was transferred to Fairbanks. We have had nothing but problems with them. Every month, it is taking up to 20 days for them to process our payment, which conveniently kicks us in to a late status. This has happened every month, so I call and SCREAM and they delete the late status. We started using online banking which has solved the problem for now, since I refuse to send a monthly payment via CRRR.
I have done some research and it is very scary what this company is doing to people. Check out www.rippedoff.com and there are numerous class action suits and complaints about this company. People are losing their houses! We want to refi and get away from them, but we have a $9,000 prepay. The online payment is working for now but I am so scared of what they can do It's terrible!
    What is your experience?

I was a computer consultant at

Edelman, Combs and Latturner. Definately not one of the best places to work. Very interesting the things that go on there. Off topic, but thought I'd share. Turnover is very high there, and the laywers really treat the staff like crap. Everyone walks around on eggshells. There was even a case about the former office manager bilking the firm of hundreds of thousands and eventually killing herself. That said, I hear they are great attorneys.
