RE: Way off topic, but if any Hi Mom, I have to wait until 1/31 to file because that's when my interest statement from Sallie Mae is available. Need that for the write off. But if you need to chat about something (like we usually do) I'm on AOL Buddy right now and I'm not busy! MP$40
RE: Way off topic, but if any Mp, just a quick note -- you can go to SallieMae's website and view your account online, including a letter stating the interest that you paid (and may possibly deduct from your taxes). Probably faster than waiting for the mail.
RE: Way off topic, but if any I know this.....but it states that the information won't be available until 1/31/01! I got my W-2 from my job yesterday also. I messed up last year because I didn't know anything about writing off student loan interest, etc. and I got a tax form 1098-E (Student Loan interest statement) and it was for $1431.55! But I had already filed. Oh well....
RE: Way off topic, but if any Get a re-file (AMMENDED) tax form, I think you can do changes for five years.
