I admit this is an odd question.

I have a small home based business I operate on the side. It is local and will stay that way. Some people seem to feel I need to web page to add credibility. I am always being asked where my web page is.

I tried and failed to do my own. Looked junky and cheap. I talked to some professionals but it was too much money. I don't make a whole lot and don't want to spend too much.

While searching the web for ideas, I found a web site in a far away city for a company doing the same thing I do that was also local. We will never compete because of the distance. Their web site was perfect and I thought about copying it.

Now, here is the question. Is there some way someone could copy that web page, change the name, address, and a few other things, and then make that my web page? Obviously that is too difficult for me, but is it something that can be done? It's cheap and it solves my problem.

It can be done, however you need someone to help you I think. You have to view the source and get the properties of the page you wish to copy and then make your changes, save the HTML and then have somewhere you want to load it.
