I got a Chevron Credit Builder card with a $50 annual fee and a $200CL.....OMG!!! I don't know what I am gonna do...I guess I can change my tag now? These are fees that I can deal with...Not a monthly part. fee and a one time proceesing fee. and a fee for your momma, and a fee for you daddy....I feel better now!
Chevron is great! I got that card in 10/2000. The limit is still at $300 though but whatever...it reports to all three and that's all that mattered to me.
Congratulations !!!!!! They have online bill pay that is VERY RECOMMENDED(www.chevron.com). Sister Girl

Has been able to get one $100 increase from Chevron after having the card for a YEAR. Good Luck and there are a pretty decent company.
Kittw1, did you apply online and get an approval? I didn't see the Credit Builder card listed on the web site.
If you apply online and don't meet their qualifications they may send you the denial letter with an invitation to call them to apply for the credit builder card. This is exactly how I received the offer, I was however declined - length of time at current employment (minimum 6 months). I changed jobs in June - this always annoys me as a declination reason as I have been steadily employed since 1978, with only a 3 week gap between Military Retirement and my first post military job. I have always been employed in the same "Job" just different companies.
Yeah, I called because I did not see this program. So I then asked the rep. if she could share some additional info on the program. She told me that all are approved for the Credit Builders if they do not qualify for the basic card. I called 1-800-FREE-APP. She then transferred me over to a "credit manager" - Jenny and she went over the program "highlights" and that was it!!
Re: Check this out.... What will happen when everything changes for Chevron & Texaco due to merger? Will accounts be serviced by Associates(currently Texaco) or Chevron Bank(Chevron)? Any guesses ? Sister Girl
Re: Check this out.... Maybe I will end up with a regular card and they will just rid this program altogether.
