This is just plain strange. I checked PG today and nearly had a heart attack; they were reporting 7 new accounts, higher balances, etc on my equifax report. I drilled down and saw basically every single deletion I've had over the past year return. Not a good thing... So I signed up for creditwatch gold and went ahead and ordered (due to denail) a paper report from CSC, just to be sure. What EQ shows on creditwatch (accurate I would assume!) : A new entry, added 03/2004, for all my previous deletions ... But get this, the entries are all 'LOST OR STOLEN CARD' . Including old collection accounts! Since when is it possible for a Global Acceptance Credit Corp account be lost or stolen? There's even a LOST OR STOLEN CARD from my university. Should I call? It worries me that these names popped back up - I don't want to see any of these things come back the way they were on my report. Should I dispute? Seems peculiar and I'm wondering if Equifax is having some sort of issues right now...
