I just logged on Experian websites to check my Experian credit report. Citibank report all my account back to 8/2001 from 12/2001. There's something with their credit reporting system to Experian. Citibank report the other two bureaus are correct. Ron.
That would explain why my Citibank accounts were deleted from Experian. They were opened last November and didn't even exist in August of last year.
My Citi accounts never get updated in Experian. The balance on one is exactly what it was in Sept of '01. This affects my score negatively because it so happens that this account has been paid in full since Jan. My other Citi account last updated in March. It, too, shows a balance when right now there is a credit. EX won't let me dispute these two online because I disputed the balances in the past. I had thought after 6 months the online dispute would work again but I was mistaken. It seems once you "use" an online dispute for any item you can never, ever dispute it again online even if the reason is different or you are just trying to get the correct balance to show. I have had my citi acct since Jan. and it has never reported to Exp. I sent a PFB to citi and they replied that it has been reported to Exp. but they would do an update to get it on there. That was over 2 months ago and it still isn't there.
My citi Plat Dividend was completely deleted from Experian when I disputed it for incorrect balance sometime ago. The other one Citi Plat Select last update was 09/2001.
My AA card was deleted when I disputed the credit limit. Experian loves to delete stuff that's positive.
Both my hubby and I received Citi Plat Select cards in January - and neither of them yet reported to Experian. Ozzy.
My Citibank Platinum Select has balance from 8/2001. I am affraid to dispute it because they may delete it. Equifax and TransUnion reports correctly.
Geo, Last time Citibank reported my account's status was 12/2001 and now all my 3 accounts are 8/2001. Citibank reported my accounts to TU and EQ are 4/2002. It's something wrong with reporting system to Experian. It's strange that AT&T Universal Card reported the status date:4/2002.They're correct. Ron.
Yes, I know that!.The problem is with EXP only. My Last update was 09/01. After I saw your post I checked CR Expert again and now is 08/01.
