Has anyone looked at their Experian reports and noticed that it has the amount of time the account is 'scheduled to continue on record'?

I thought the time frames were roughly 7 and 10 years, but i was looking at DH's yesterday and noticed that he has several paid collections that are scheduled to come off in 4 years or 5 years from last activity (not last report). So I checked an older Experian of mine. Same thing. My car accounts are 7 years, but I have a cc that is 5 years 2 months, it's CA is 4 years 2 months (don't ask me how that happened) and a cable collection that is 5 years 4 months.

    Anyone else notice this???

A funny, not so funny story... this cable collection I found on a credit report 2 years ago. A month later I got a job with the cable company and not wanting to get off on the wrong foot went ahead and paid the bill. After I learned the computer system and understood the bills I looked it up. Come to find out, I had paid it all along. I did get my payment back and the collection off one of my reports (it's in dispute on another). But it was a good lesson learned...

the importance of validating before you pay!!!
