Looking over my online EXP, I see a soft inquiry from RCN dated 10/13/03. I terminated service with them around that date, so I'm very curious as to why they're doing what I assume is an AR. Unfortunately, EXP does not give info about the type of inquiry so I'm going to have to call them. Has anyone else had an inquiry from RCN as they CANCEL their service? The timing is such that I think it's pretty borderline as to my relationship with them, although at that date, they assumed I owed one last month. The check was actually cashed 10/17, so it's very, very close but they could technically say I owed them money on 10/13. OTH, the bill said the money was due in November, so I'm not sure about their right to pull my credit. I have a receipt dated 10/17 for their getting their cable modem back. But wait, there's more... the inquiry does not show up on two written reports from EXP after that 10/13 date. I have a report from October and December of 2003 that do not show a soft inquiry from RCN. Very, very weird... Thoughts, comments, anyone?
