Thanks. I am very happy the inquiries came off. My suit did aks for 3k, one for each inquiry. However, this was never about money, I was just hoping that got their attention.

I am willing to waive any settlement that may or may not have been presented to avoid the NDA- I would rather have the right to tell the story.

Again- Prov treated me very well at one point in my life. It was not until this incident that I had any negative feelings towards them.

I just hope this helps everyone know they have the right to be heard. I am not trying to be the next Erin Brockovich(sp?), I am just trying to be treated fairly.

UPDATE---I am not under a NDA at this time.

Providian's intital (laughable) offer was a $500 CLI. ON WHAT??????? I don't want a Providian card!!!!!!

Obviously we rejected this offer. This is not about money anyway.

The inquiries are still gone. I am happy with that.

As much as I would love 'free money', I don;t want it from them. I only wanted the inquiries removed.

I was inspired by Christine over at another board. I saw where she had successfully beat them and I thought it was time for me to try.

It looks like others have as well- based on how quickly the inquiries came off.

Again, they treated me well at one time- I wish it had not come to this.

My counter was no NDA and my legal fees...the initial filing (a few dollars), the fed ex amount, and the 100.00 fee the lawyer charged to go over the paperwork.
