They have successfully deleted an open 3 year auto tradeline with 10 late pays.......I don't know weather to be happy or upset....I will have to pull my score again to see what it looks like now.....Maybe that's why the guy at the car dealership said that it didn't look as bad as I thought.....hmmmmmm
The same thing happened to me, I DID have 5 late payments and all I disputed were the late payments and they deleted the whole file, when I talked to Equifax about it, they said its better to not be on there then to be on there WITH late payments. However the other bureaus still have the late payments on there, Equifax said it all depends on who the CB get a hold of when they verify it, some say just take it off others say leave or just take off the late payments.
Equifux..WHAT a HOOT!! LOL TU did it to me. Score jumped up 60pts. Im waiting to see what they do about it.
