Does anyone here have this card? If so, what were your scores when approved?

I applied online last night and received a message: "We need to conduct further review of your information before we can supply you with a decision". Phone automated system indicates that app was received and is currently under review.

    Thanks!

As a banker, I've advised several clients to apply for this card for BT purposes - and they've been approved. (I keep getting declined, but I've been good at referring other people to apply!)

I have a phone number at the office where you can check the status of your application. I'll post it once I get in today. It is an automated system that checks your application using your SSN.

    BTW, your scores look great!

I've had a couple of clients approved with scores around 670+, so if you're declined, it is NOT due to your scores.

Thanks, David. I called a number this morning where it asked for my SSN to check on status. It was 1-800-967-9521. It says "your app has been received and is currently being reviewed". I applied online last night around 9:30 PM EST.

My mortgage is with Wells Fargo and I would probably be approved for their Prime Rate card but I think the fee they charge $79 is too high.
So I've got Chase Platinum MC with Prime Rate for $45 only.

BTW Chase never charged me BT fee and it takes only 2-3 days to complete BT if you request it online.

It's good if you get a decent line. The most I've ever gotten on a prime rate card (not WF) is a $2000 line. When you account for the $79 fee the rate comes out to prime + 3.95% for a constant $2000 balance for a year.

This is my oldest card. I got it within a couple of months of moving to the US, and had no credit history at all. I had to pester the Wells Fargo banker a bit, but it was worth it - they gave a credit line of $10K. Their customer service is also very good.
