I see them mentioned here occcasionally as a credit card issuer but never see ads for them nor have I ever gotten a solicitation from them. Do they have cards under their own name or do they use a different name? Are they prime or sub-prime? Are they very big in the credit card market?
Tom.Wellsfargo is about the seventh largest bank in America. They issue sub-prime through prime,secured and unsecured.
Go to http://www.wellsfargo.com They have credit cards, home mortgages, all the regular stuff, brokerage accounts etc. They don't need to do much advertising. Credit cards range from prime to student to secured. They offer a great online bill pay that works through Quicken or MS Money. John
I applied for Wells Fargo months ago and they denied me on the spot and didn't pull report. They claim I needed a bank account or mortgage relationship with them.
They'll pull a hard inquiry. If your score is bad, they'd decline you. If your score is good, they'd still decline you, this time for being "out of our banking area". Saar
I have a Wells Fargo account. I'm trying to get them to lower the apr. I sent them a Planet Feedback letter. We'll see what happens.
