Poor Little Guy, Sitting in front of three High Profile Lawyers but neither specialize in FCRA, but they said they can help me. I was SWEATING BRICKS.

Hi, I went to my new lawyer, but they really don't seem to be as much help as everyone on creditnet LOL, he really doesn't do FCRA law it's not his specialty he said, but he can help, he took all my copy of my credit report and my dads, and going to demand that Trans Union re-insert the deleted information and deleted all my files from my dads report and demand Trans Union to fixed the either split or merged file. He mentioned that i'll also have to send myself a letter certified mail demanding the re-insertion also, like that we have proof if we take them to court.

Can anyone help me write up a letter to Trans Union for the re-insertion of my positive deleted CC, Mortgage, Car Loan accounts??

Quick refrence, my accounts where deleted from my report when my dad disputed his Trans Union report online, we both have same first and last name except for middle initial, see all my account where on my dad's report, he wanted all of my accounts deleted from his report, but Trans Union deleted them from the wrong report since we have the sames names and live at the same address.

The lawyer is doing his letters but for some reason wants me to also send my request.

It's funny, everything that came out of my mouth, the lawyers wrote it down, to bad they didn't write down "excuse me, can I please use the bathroom"

    PLEASE HELP!!!

    LOL
Come on... Did he really tell you you had to send a letter to yourself ????

Sorry, I have nothing useful to contribute, I just thought it was funny the way you worded that sentence !

Plus, here's a bump for you.

Now you know how I felt at my hearing with Experian. The magistrate kept asking me what the difference between a hard and soft inquiry is. He was really nice but I know 100 times more than him. Luckily for me he will be reading up on the FCRA manual that Experian generously provided him.

Your file and your Dad's file have been merged. I would write a letter stating that fact, and give both names and DOB's. I would tell them that they have deleted information from both accounts that should only have been deleted from your Dad's account. Then I would list the accounts that should be on your report but not on your Dad's.

I would tell them this has caused you financial harm (has it? If not, apply for something quick), and that you want it straightened out ASAP. Tell them they will be receiving a similar request from YOUR ATTORNEY, in addition to this request from you, and then put cc and your attorney's name at the bottom, and make sure you send a copy to the attorney.

This will get you into special handling, I'm sure. If they continue to mix the files, rack up some damages and sue the daylights out of them.

You are right...I also know more than my lawyer about credit related laws, but I have to hire him to demand and hopfully his letterhead will force Trans Union to correct the problem.

He also didn't know what a hard or soft inq was. LOL

He did mention that some banks that he does business for are going to stop using Credit Scoring for loans and mortgage, because they are loosing lots of money.

Actually, it would be helpfull if you can include proof that the accts you want on your report are yours. Like bank statements.

I do wonder?? Would it be possible for CRA to refuse your request by claiming they are a private entity and that they only report what financial institutions tell them as long as the information is accurate. Therefore, the lack of info on your report is not their problem.

Just trying to be a defense lawyer here.
