i got a subscription thru them for 5 magazines 5 yrs... just pay 39 a month for 3 years....

which is waaaaaaaay more than just getting the subs.. i know stupid move on my part...

well i paid them 3 months... and only recvd one magazine fulltime and one copy of another magazine then nothing else...

    so i stopped paying

they called and i talked to someone.. they stated there was just a hold so as soon as i paid they would restart... i told them they never started to begin with and fought with the guy 20 mins.. 475 cancellation fee...

i refused to pay told him so

    he hung up

next day same thing he said he cant cancel and would send it to legal

must have been a scare tactic cuz they called again today... same thing. i told them there is no good time to call pls contact me by mail cuz i am not paying it.... do you think this will go on my credit and what do i do about it

i am not paying over 500 dollars for one damn magazine

Wow that is a lot of money for a magazine.

Stay off the phone--you have no proof of anything.

Write them a letter, certified mail return receipt, and tell them the magazines never started and therefore not only are you not paying any more, you want a refund of what you have paid.

Indicate that you are sending a copy of the letter to your state Attorney General and to the FTC--then do it.

I've been getting subscriptions through this company for several years and have never had any problems with them. They've always helped me switch to the magazines I wanted and anything else that ever came up.
