Did you apply for this? If so, who did they pull? I was reading about yesterday. 2.9% intro for 5 months then to 14%??...CL up to $10,000.
I haven't applied myself, but that offer was better than the preapproved offers I got from DMB a couple of years ago. The cobranding MAY offer some protection from repricing as well. I'm truly surprised that anyone else has heard of it. I happened to be in a Payday Loan-Check Cashing-Western Union place, and the applications were on the counter.
A co-worker of mine told me that he received a phone solicitation at home for the Western Union card a couple of days ago. I went to the website to check it out. By the way, he had a chapter 7 bk about 4 years ago and they gave him a $9100 loc.
I used to have a Western Union Mastercard (secured card), but at that time (approx. 8 years ago) it was issued by The Associates. There were no benefits at that time.. at least for secured card members.
