The other day a guy from Allied Interstate calls me, a day after my investigation was done. (EX verified.) Let me tell you about this conversation. AI: Hello is Mr. Banger home? KB: Yes this is he, how can I help you AI: This is Blah, blah BS from AI KB: okay?!!! AI: What do you plan on doing about this account KB: Well I noticed it on my CR and sent you a validation letter. AI: Oh so you were denied credit KB: NO AI: So how did you know it was on your report KB: Because I monitor it AI: NO you were trying to buy something and you got denied, I have been in this business for 7 years and I know all about you deadbeats, so what are you planning on doing about this account. KB: I am waiting for you guys to validate it AI: We already have, the OC gave it to us KB: I said validation, not verification. AI: We have KB: Their is a difference, do you have a signed agreement between me and the OC. AI: Yes we do KB: Okay sent it to to me and I'll let you know. AI: No you have to pay this KB: Listen what are you doing tomorrow? AI: What? KB: Because what you are doing now, you will be doing tomorrow and the next day and so forth and you still will not get a dime out of me. AI: Yes WE will. KB: Can you elaborate on this AI: You owe this and you will pay. KB: Laughing AI: You think this is funny? KB: I think you are funny. AI: You think not paying your debts is funny? KB: Actually no but you are. All of a sudden the guy hangs up. I am still laughing at this point. So I decide to call him back. I get a rep. who pulls up the account. I say can I have the guy who just called. She transfers me to him. KB: Is this AI collector #111111111 AI: Yes KB: WE just spoke AI: Are you ready to pay this debt KB: Actually no AI: So what did you call back for KB: To tell you to never call my house again and from now on contact me only in writing and one more thing. tAlk to the people in your validation department. They are way late on responding to my letter. AI: I don't have to do anything KB: And I don't have to pay. All of a sudden he hangs up again. I wonder? was it something I said?
