What are "Green Cards"?

    For the sake of credit discussions that is. I have heard them mentioned quite often here.

    They are certified mail return receipts. In other words they are the cards that are returned to you after the person has signed for the mail for your records and they are green.

    When you send something Certified Return Receipt Requested, you get a green card returned showing the signature and date received.

    WOW and I, DUH, have three of them posted on my Fridge. All three to Sears whom I have yet to hear from BTW. It has been a month. Do these cards have powers?

    Some people also refer to one of the AMEX cards as the "Green Card".

    Please read the FAQ's and take the newbie tests....this will help you a lot on this board.... green cards are basic 101 credit repair. I am sure that this will help you a lot.

    Green card - a slang term referring to a document issued by the immigration and naturalization service to aliens granting them permission to work in the United States...
