I would like to obtain a Chase card but do not want to burn an inquirey on a rejection. I have a FICO of 714 on TU with one small paid charge off from 01/96. The score may be high enough but I have applied twice in the last 9 months and have been denied. I had three derogs at the times of application. Does anyone know if prior apps. are considered and flags go up when when the app. is submitted again? Should I lie low for awhile or go for it? Thx for any advice. mark
Prior apps are not a red flag. I was denied a Gold, only to be approved for a Platinum a couple of months later. Chase has been very good to me. Saar
