Hey, looking around there's all these offers (like the Amex Blue) that say they're smart chip enabled. Now what exactly is the smart chip benefits that these smart chip cards have? Any benefits for real people who don't shop online? Thanks
There are no benefits at the moment, it just looks cool... seriously. If you're shopping online it's supposed to provide you with a way to skip entering the whole info (CC number, expiration, etc) and to make it safer, alhtough I don't see how. Anyway I'm waiting for my reader and then maybe I'll give you more details.
