Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: What are the most prest WHEN AMEX PLATINUM WAS $300...I LAUGHED AT A FEW PEOPLE THAT HAD THEM...when I had to cashier. I paid $0 for the cards I PAID IN FULL... The MOST I PAY IS $60.00 FOR BANK ONE/UNITED VISA
What are the most prestigious cards Dear iPoop: You should think more positively about yourself. There's a lot more prestige in having AmEx Platinum or AmEx Blue than there is in pooping a lot. What I can't stand is people who brag about pooping a lot. I poop myself, but I don't think it's something that gives me prestige. It's so sad that people now judge other people by how much they poop...
What are the most prestigious cards I think the most prestigous card is the Centennial Gold card that is in my pocket. I just recieved this with its HUGE 250 dollar limit! WHOOOOOOO HOOOO!!! That buys a date at a movie and dinner... then what? Lets see someone top that starting credit line! (has anyone been approved for a lower line that that?) I do have a PayPal Business card that looks like a platinum, but it has a 0 balance... maybe that one is a winner... Or maybe its my Plains Total Card which cost me 178 bucks to get, and it has a whopping 300 dollar credit line....
What are the most prestigious cards Be careful on that dinner date. Better pay the tip in cash or you might get an overlimit fee!! I think there are some who have gotten a whopping $200 limit.
Re: What are the most prestigious cards My vote goes to the (retired now to a happy place, so sad!!!) BLUE PROVIDIAN TORCH Card. Amex Blue surely cannot compete with a card of this caliber!!! When you whip it out, the girls go wild!
Re: What are the most prestigious c Showing up to the party late...sorry. May I put a spin on the question? What is the most prestigious CC to a CRA?
Re: Re: What are the most prestigious cards That would be me! I've gotten a lot of laughs with that one. Oh well - Fleet gave me $5k the same day
Re: What are the most prestigious cards WHOOOO HOOOO!!!! Just got my ORCHARD SILVER Card with a whopping limit of $ 300 bucks.... THIS IS THE NEW WINNER!!!!
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: What are the most prest Interesting discussion overall. But I was just thinking, no one is ever impressed with the cards I use these days, because for the most part, the cashier doesn't even see them. So many retailers nowadays have the "swipe it yourself" module (gas, groceries, clothes, etc.) Many other purchases I do online (travel, amazon, barnes & noble, office depot, compusa, clothing stores, gift stores, etc.), as well as monthly automated billing charges (allstate, farmers insurance, city services, lawn maintenance, cell phones, etc.), so no one gets a chance to comment on my card there either. I really can't even recall anyone remarking "ooh, aah" simply because, they just have no opportunity to see my cards. And for the few times they do (restaurants, dry cleaners, vet and kennel, nail salon, hairdressers, etc.) I'm either shopping among my peers, so they see these cards all the time; or they're just kids who have no clue that my cards are of the "hard to get" variety. Hmmmmm.
