What can I do about this? Was First Premier Reporting Issues!

    Hi again!

    Arrow Financial Services bought my First Premier Acct sometime on or before September 1, 2007.

    First Premier is reporting me as late on their acct to the CRA's with no mention that it has been sold. Can they still report to my CR that I am late if they sold the acct?

    It could be that they didn't sell it to AFNI, but they are just having AFNI do the dirty work of trying to collect. In that case, the OC and the CA each could have a trade line for the same debt.

    That is correct. If it's only been assigned, then First Premier didn't sell it, and still owns all rights to it.

    The CA can report the collection account in addition to the OC still reporting.

    Thank you for your answer. No it was sold to Arrow Financial.
