What Can I do If CA is not licensed and I already paid?

Apparently Midland Credit is not licensed in Nevada and is still reporting incorrect info on my reports. I already paid them though. now if they aren't even licensed in nevada how could i swing that to benefit me? i already paid them but they still verify incorrect information. i.e. they have it as 120 days late but verify and they dont respond to my letters. also could i lean on the OC for using unlicensed CA's?

You will have to sue them.

There is likely no OC insofar as MCM is a debt purchaser. While we have success on occasion deleting MCM through their counsel, I would just sue them to recoup what you paid.

Seems that both the FCRA and FDCPA are fair game herein.
