I noticed on my reports that back in May Discover pulled a hard. I can't really remember, but I think I did apply for a card. Obviously got denied. I have no derogs on TU now (the only report they pulled) Isn't there a way to get TU to send the updated report to Discover? I think I read that somewhere, about sending the new report to everyone from the last 2 years. I don't really need them to do that, but just curious if there is a way. I don't necassarily want a discover card, but if they already pulled a hard that I'm stuck w/ for 2 yrs... My report was bad then, I hadn't started my repair work yet. I had 3 judgements/liens, and 4 bad TL's on it back then. Just wondering....
From my non-expert recollection, when you dispute something, and the CRA changes it, you have the right to have an "updated" copy sent to anyone who pulled the rpt in the past six months. I could be wrong, but for some reason six months sticks in my mind. Either way, you could always re-apply, and dispute the new inquiry should they still not see you as "worthy."
Could you please clarify if it was TU was the first report that they pulled, or did they pull another and you just want to send them your cleanest report.
the inquiry shows up on TU (though it is my cleanest report, but the worst score) I happened to get a report in the mail today and it answered my question. I'm going to give it a try. You can have them send an updated report to anyone who has denied you employment for 2 yrs, or credit for 6 months. I have to write them tomorrow, and give it a shot. I figure, what do I have to lose? I already have the inquiry, right??
