Equifax has deleted everything on my fiance's report. It is completely clean with only 1 cc. The only thing left is 1 cc which he is an AU, his score is 685, now what CC should he get? We are still working on TU and Experian to delete 2 accounts which EQ has deleted but they dont want to delete the tradelines. His scores: Eq-685 no derog's TU-645 2 charge off's Ex-?? 1 charge off
Anything in the prime market. I wood look for something with no annual fee, and a low interest rate. If he's carrying a balance on the CC that is showing, try for something with a 0% on balance transfers. If all else fails and you hit a few denials try Providian. High rates, moderatly high annual fees, but pretty good credit limits. ChrisB
Chris bad advice no one is giving you prime at 685 sorry espcially with a collection. Dont waste your inquiries get a store card like circuit city or comp usa you should also quailfy for cap one although they have tightened there restrictions. where are u located i am gicing you advice based on NY where i live. Be aware that 685 with a colelction is not PRIME land
Its 685 but no collection, Eq has only 1 credit card with a balance but "pays as agreed" and never late, He is an AU on that Credit card. The derogs on Tu and Eq are charged of credit cards as well, no collection on all his reports. Thanks!!
I received a fleet platinum with 0 interest for 6 months and 9.99 interest after no fees card w/scores of EX-678 TU-670 EQ-670 so you can get a good card I just pulled TU and my score was up to 694 today
Re: Re: What CC to get after major cleanup? I disagree. A FICO 685 is considered prime by many mainstream lenders. The only caveat is that you only have one open account in your name and that could hurt.
