Hey, Just thought we should make a list of the CREDIT CARDS WE ALL HAVE, many of us come on the board searching for some specific credit card and looking for more information on the services that card is offering everyone else: *What Credit Card do you have? *What was your Initial Credit Limit When Approved? *What was your Credit Score when you applied? *How long have you had the CARD? *What's the Credit Limit Now? *Was it Online Instant Approval? or was it In-store Register Approval or did you Fill Out an Application and Mail it? *How often have you gotten a Credit Line Increase? *Does anyone of the Three CRA show your Credit Limit? *What Credit Report did they PULL? *How often do you request a Credit Line Increase? *Have they ever Lowered your Credit Line? if so why? *When you applied did you do a Balance Transfer? *Was it a Pre-Approved Offer in the Mail? *Whould you recommend the Card to others? *Many ask why everyone else get big increases in their Credit Limits, it's probubly their payment patterns or their assets, such as Mortgages or other type of Installment loans like cars loans ect. Some may only have their Credit Reports with Credit Cards others have mixed accounts. What DO YOU HAVE? MAYBE this list will help answer most of everyone's questions on these Credit Cards, or be as Refrence to everyone. =) Thanks Everyone!
Wow...I can't answer ALL those questions, but here we go: BofA Alaska Air Platinum Visa- 3 years ago, applied online, no instant approval, $7k starting, increased to $12k after 6 months, 6 months later, combined w/Platinum Mastercard and bumped to $39k. American Express Blue- 2 years ago, applied online, no instant approval, $2k initial credit line, bumped to $9k after 6 months, 8 months later, increase to $19k, recently combined w/Delta SkyMiles card to bump credit line to $42k. AmEx Delta SkyMiles- 2 years ago, applied online, no instant approval, $6k credit line, increased to $23k 9 months later. Closed and combined w/Blue. MBNA Platinum Plus- 18 months ago, applied online, got call 3 weeks later, approved for $43k!!! Haven't asked for increase. Citibank AA Mastercard- 2.5 years ago, applied online, instant approval, $23k. Cancelled the card recently because they bumped me to 24% because of amount of available credit w/other creditors. BASTARDS!!! I've had cards w/practically every major creditor. I've got some other cards that really aren't worth mentioning; Juniper, Discover, US Bank, etc. (Too many to list...CR shows 47 positive tradelines reporting, most are closed.) High lines are a result of approx. $50k charged per month. Used personal cards for business expenses, so I was able to significantly pump up my own credit in the process. After that, it was CAKE to get the lines increased. After things in the (Silicon) Valley...ahem...settled down (wwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy doooooowwwwwwn), I've barely used the cards. As of right now, I've got over $130k available on my cards, but I'm not using them until I see some cash flow!! Anyway, that's my abbreviated credit story. How 'bout the rest of you?
