I disputed a few things on one report and everything came off except 3 inquiries, none of which they even mentioned in the response. I sent another letter requesting that those inquiries be deleted since they didn't verify. Just checked and I'm now showing investigation pending on one inquiry BUT it's not one I ever even disputed. I can't even find it on my report. And the three I did dispute again aren't even mentioned in the pending dispute list. What should I do? ARe the inquiries even important enough to bother with? Thanks.

What credit bureau's credit report are you looking at?

EXP. I've gotten a pretty good response so far from EXP as all the things I've disputed were easy to verify -- balances, late payment reported before there was even a balance, things the original creditor had already agreed were mistakes, etc. These inquiries are genuinely wrong too, so I think it's just someone entering the dispute wrong. I don't know. Just don't know if it's worth pursuing. One of my reason codes on the score is "too many inquiries" but I don't know if I'd gain much by getting them off.
