What do I tell CRA about a non-validated CA on the report? How do I get the non-validated item off the credit report? Regards, dolphin
Can you please give more details? What have you tried to do to validate? Have you disputed with the CRA at all?

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY sending out letters if you are communicating with Experian. As stated in a recent post, they will NOT accept any documentation from you UNLESS it is documentation from the collection agency stating the account should be deleted. I have undeniable proof that what one collection agency is listing is incorrect. However, even though they acknowledge it, they state they can do nothing unless the CA tells them to remove. They do not care what you have. So I would not waste your time sending them copies of your letters, proof that your letters were received, etc. They do not care!
Re: Re: What do I tell CRA about non-alidat I know you are mad at Evil Experian, join the other 99% of us that are tired of them to. But, the poster still needs to send them the letters, and build a paper trail if this ever goes to lawsuit, and he wants to prevail.

Re: Re: Re: What do I tell CRA about non-alidat Yeah...your right about that. Maybe I should restate that, if you don't have intentions to sue them, you should not waste your time. You make an excellent point. Obviously, if you want to sue them, it is important to send them that information. I was simply making a point that Experian won't use whatever you send them to delete the account so you may not want to waste your time photocopying your proof and writing them a long letter explaining yourself when they are not going to even bother with it (unless you do plan on ultimately filing suit). I know most people have absolutely no intentions of going to court so I am just trying to save them some time and headache.
Re: Re: Re: What do I tell CRA about non-alidat It depends on whether or not you ultimately want to sue Experian. If you do, I guess it would be extremely important that you send them your proof to create a paper trail. In my case, I just want the account deleted and do not want to sue them. I would suggest that the person file a complaint with the attorney general for their state and the FTC. Simply state in your complaint that you disputed the account online and it was verified. You then called Experian and asked where you should send your proof supporting your claims of the inaccurate entry and they stated that they will not be able to use it to delete the account. But rather, they will have to launch a new investigation and only if the creditor decides to delete will the account be deleted regardless of the information you provide. So then you state, in your complaintant, that you did not send the documentation because Experian said they would not be able to use it. They told me flat out, when I offered to send the contract again, don't waste your time. We will not be able to delete the entry as it the responsibility of the creditor to do so. If you directly supplied the creditor with the same info and they won't delete it, then you know that it really isn't going to do any good to send the info to Experian as they will only forward the creditor what you already sent them directly. I'm just trying to save some people a little time. For instance, I sent Experian the same contract 3 times. If I would have known the way things "really" worked, I would have sent it once and only once. I would not have spent hours writing long follow up letters and sending the same documentation over and over again. Maybe I should say instead, don't waste your time REsending documentation. My fault!! ;-)
