Hope everybody is doing well. I would like to discuss a matter of suspending auto insurance coverage temporarily. Due to this ongoing pandemic, I'm working from home. I have not been using my car for many months. For buying any necessary things, I'm using my father's car. My car is there in the car porch, and I haven't taken it outdoors. So I thought about why I have to spend money on car insurance costs if I'm not taking my car outside and I'm also financially tight these days. When I searched on the internet, I saw some articles about the temporary suspension of auto insurance coverage. I'm thinking about contacting my auto insurance provider. Before that, I would like to hear from you all. Is it really possible to suspend our auto insurance coverage temporarily? I don't know whether it is a smart move or not. Does it sound pointless? Please share your opinions. Thanks!
