I recently received a letter from Wells Fargo concerning a dispute letter I sent to a Creditor named "Flagship Credit" which seems to have gone out of business. It reads: Dear Mr. Beary, This letter is written in response to your correspondence dated 11/2/01 requesting that we correct your Credit Report regarding the above account, which was formerly with Flagship Credit Corporation. Please be advised that we can not correct this information unless you file a dispute directly with the Credit Bureau. You can contact Equifax at 888-997-2493. If you have any further questions, please feel free to call us at 800-357-75-1 Sincerely, Bregory M. Gamble Customer Service Department PS: Bill, what do you think? I faxed this to you but I had no responce.
