Hi everyone, long time no see.

I am needing a little advice here on my credit situation. I had 3 Capital One credit cards, one I have had for 2 years, the other two opened within the last 6 months, combined the two newest cards into my oldest card. I am thinking I should have waited until they were a year old before I did this? What are the consequences of opening accounts and having them showed as paid in full within 3-6 months? Does it help your credit situation at all?

I also have Cross Country Bank and First National Bank of Marin, both of them a year old this month, I am really starting to dislike both companies and think Cap One may let me BT at least one of them to my older card so I can close it. I also have a Household mc that is only a few months old I am not sure what to do with.

My goal is to try and bt all cards to cap one and close them out, I think it would be better to have a high balance on one card than spread out over several? I am getting denied a lot because my balances are too high with too many lines.

    Any advice? TIA Sam
