I sent a crrr letter to equifax, last week. I called today to find out if they had received my procedure request and why they haven't a collection that they should and still have it listed in investigation. After being switched around to 4 diff. people, I got the legal dept. They said a Sandi Ostler is handling my file now. It is in litigation and I would have to speak to her tomorrow, they have left for the day. Can anybody tell me what this means? I did not sue them or threaten a lawsuit. I have only disputed online 3x and send a simply worded procedure request.
Would this happen to be an entry from Asset Acceptance? Sandi Oster is one of the contact people at their office in Warren Michigan. I always send my correspondence to Asset to her attention.
I thought I called Equifax, I guess I must have called the wrong number. I will have to check. It's a shame, I have so much going on, I cannot keep it straight. Thanks, Matt! I knew that name sounded familiar.
