Capital One still offers secured cards. Go here: www.capitalone.com/apply

You'll have the option of choosing which card you want to apply for.

I just applied for capital one secured card last week online. I also didn't see the option of $49 deposit when I applied online, but I just spoke w/a rep today that informed me that my deposit would be $49 and would be a credit limit of $500. I'm glad cuz I was expecting like a $99 deposit w/a credit limit of $250, knowing my luck :).

I think Cap 1's secured card is terrific for rebuilding credit. I've had mine for over a year...only a $49.00 deposit. My initial credit line was $300.00.

Last month, Mr. Cooke raised my limit from $400.00 to $1200.00 without requiring an additional deposit! I LOVE that man. The card does come with a 19.8% APR, but I've never had any problems with my account and it works just as well as an unsecured card :)
