3 years ago, this forum was hustling like crazy. Now, it seems like there is very little activity. What happened?
I've noticed that also. Back in 2002 we had the likes of Psych Doc, George, nana, breeze etc........I don't see any of them posting. Evidently there was some conflict when PBM left as administrator, and several of our beloved regulars left.
Yes, all that did happen, but Creditnet is still here and we are still dedicated to maintaining this board for all who come by. We thank all those who are still here helping others, and hope all those who have received help will return the favor and help those who happen to be just a few steps behind you on their journey to good credit. Many people from years ago visit from time to time and wonder what has happened to the board. They end up coming, seeing there's not much activity, and leaving again. But please remember, there are still people posting questions and needing your help! Why not stay and help bring this board back to what it was in its glory days! This board is actually in a great place right now. We have a good foundation and are ready to build upwards. Our active members are people genuinely needing help as well as people genuinely wanting to help others out of the goodness of their hearts. There is no animosity. Having said that, we're always open to feedback and suggestions, contact us anytime via the Feedback forum.
I think that competition has happened--- there are several other boards that are very active, although the advise given is not necessarily from "experts" but there seems to be more activity.
Timely question, vectorz. I haven't been here in years as well, popped my head in, and was sort of wondering the same thing.
I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that a couple years ago mortgage rates bottomed out. Working in the industry, I got calls almost every day of 2003-2004 from people wanting to refinance. I might get one or two a week now.
