You dispute a balance and the CRA deletes the entire tradeline? Will it come back when they make their next monthly report or do I have to do something to get it back?

Out of curiousity was it TU?

Anyway, if it's an important line to you call the OC and ask them to re-report it to the CRA. Time may deal with it when the OC normally sends their stuff to the CRAs, but why not make the call.

    No, it was EQF.

To be honest it is a line I would love not to have, because it is a maxed out loan that is showing as a revolving line.

I don't want to be dishonest, but I also don't want to do any unnecessary work if they are just going to put it back when the do their normal monthly update.

Well, now its a matter of honor vs. accepting your good fortune... Only you can make that decision! It may reappear anyway as part of the next monthly update cycle.

They probably will, however, TU as sheep mentioned, will "cloak" something they delete, so it never comes back. No matter how hard I try. When I disputed some balances, some good cards got fully deleted (which ticks me off, that's not what I asked for) and the OC is in fact reporting it. TU of course can't do a darn thing.
