    Hello everyone!

As you can guess, I have had a BK. It was discharged in 3/1993, and so (theoretically, at least), it should come off of my CR around 3/2003, give or take a few months for the update...

Has anyone been in the situation of noticing any significant score change (different from the normal score variability day-to-day), after their BK has "fallen off?" Does anyone have an idea of how much your score will increase after it is not on your record anymore.

After the BK, the factors influencing my score the most are utilization (mine: 43%, national average 34%), and number of recent hard inquiries within the last 12 months.

Anyways, any experience or knowledge on the increase in score after a BK falls off would be greatly appreciated!

If the BK is your only negative your score should pop up probably at least 50 points. It will hopefully come off your report 1 month early. Also the 10 year clock is supposed to start from the date of filing, not the date of discharge. Usually there is 3 or 4 months between these two dates. Your BK may fall of in November or December of this year.
