What is my recourse if I don't get the green cards back? Is there someway I can get conirmation on paper that they did receive the letters? If I request a duplicate from the post office it won't have their signature correct? Isn't getting the signature the whole point? How else can you prove that they actually received the letter. Help this really scares me because I would hate to put in so much time and have them pull a fast one.
MIL is having this very problem.Looks as if the CAs have found a ploy to avoid or lessen their damages from Validation letters.Wouldn't surprise me if we stsart seeing more and more cases of missing or delayed green cards.
Calm down, Robin... now just calm down. You should have a slip with the same "tracking number" that they got when they received it. Contact the PO with that number and they should be able to tell you when and who got the letter. What to do in the future: Try to get their fax number. Send the letter CRRR, and fax them saying "hey... this is what you're gonna get in a couple of days!" That way, you at least have fax-confirmation that they got it. Just my method. It may sound a little unorthodox, but most of my methods do! Smitty Firestone Blowout Sale! Today only! Don't miss it!
I'm having the same issues with IC Systems and NCO. I received the green cards back, however, both were unsigned and undated/unstamped. So... I go down to my untrusty post office, and fill out the necessary forms, and now have to wait. Today I decided to try to speed things up. So... I call the post office where the green cards went (the receipient) and was told they have no record of delivery. Nice. I'm beginning to wonder if the CA's have something going with the mailman. Might just have to go the fedex route.
Yes it certainly does. I've had 3 in the past month either come back unsigned and unstamped, or just never came back. Called 1800 number for main post office customer service, all they can say is ..."we apologize for the inconvience.." They're so helpful. Now I have to spend 3-4 times more at FedEx to get the job done right.
That's not the bad part .The bad part is They can violate your rights during the 30 day Validation period and get by with it . Case in point: MIL sent NCO 2 Val letters well over 30 days ago. She has racked them up for 8 attempt to collect since she mailed the letters. No Cards No Proof No $8000 for the violations. What you have to spend on FedEx is chicken feed compaired to this!
Agreed. That's why I never give up. BTW, I'm still waiting on my NCO signature as well. Maybe I'll just set up an account with FedEx or UPS, and eliminate my need for the post office all together.
I never received green card back from letter I sent to equifax in January, though I have received a response from them. One item deleted, 2 verified, and they completly ignored my dispute of inquires.
