I sent a letter to one of the many companies that once held my student loan. I sent it certified mail on Dec. 30th and haven't received the green card yet. I sent it to a P.O., the one that the CRA told me to write. I diputed the item and it was verified so I wrote to them and asked them to show proof. How long should I wait before I contact them again? Can I do a dispute and send the white portion of the C. mail, the letter I wrote and say they cannot or are unwilling to verify so it should be removed per my rights as a consumer? Any ideas would be helpful.
RE: What if you don't receive The post office will send a second request free of charge, just take your receipt with you to the post office.
RE: ok I guess I will have another trip to the post office on Saturday. Thirty days is long enough right?
RE: What if you don't receive If you're going to take the legal route, try to find their street address and send it there. Saar
RE: What if you don't receive Did you send it certified-return receipt, thats where you get the green card that the creditor has signed.
RE: What if you don't receive Yes, I did sent it certified, return receipt. I am quite familiar with the process, I am just wondering if maybe it got lost in the mail or what?
