What is a Target Guest Card?

And how does it differ from any other card?

The reason I ask is I have been in a Target Store near me several times and have never bought anything. KMart actually looked good compared to Target. I need some new trade liens, but I wouldn't want to get a card I would never use.

The Target Guest Card is the Target Store Credit Card as oppose to the Target Visa Card.

Thanks. I guess I need a Target Guest card like I need brain cancer.

Depends if you need a dept. store card to add to your cc mix and/or that you shop at Target.

I have not used my Guest Card in over a year.

    Best regards,

Sometimes a tumor or two can help your FICO...

I have seen it written, more than once, that having a healthy mix of credit is good for your score. If you don't have a dept. store card, it could help.

    Flying,

Target Guest card is pulling a Crap-One. They are reporting only the high balance on my wife's EQ report and no credit limit ($62 instead of $300). We got this card thinking that it would help her credit history, but it's hurting now more than helping.

This card is, like, so sock-drawered ... :)

You are right ... you need them like you need cancer. Don't go near them.

Don't sock drawer it. Go buy $295 worth of stuff. Wait until it bills and return it. Unless you need to get Christmas gifts anyway.
