I haven't been on this site for awhile and I don't know much about some of the terminology. Don't mean to sound stupid but what does FICO stand for? Thanks Marilyn
FICO stand for Fair,Isaac Co. Inc. (I think) anyway, these guys came up with a scoring model that accesses your credit risk. It involves many factors. No one really knows the details of the model they use. This is what keeps them in business. Recently they made information available to the public to help us understand what are some of the factors behind the model. You can read all about it at www.fairisaac.com.
