I just pulled a clean report off of Equifax. A dispute that i put in for NCO (collection agency) was verified a few days ago while under the validation process. I pulled a report today and they are not on there anymore, but the fico score is exactly the same.

can anyone help me understand this ??

Always remember that your score is determined by many factors...

    http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/creditscoring/present/sld008.htm

thus...many folks have referred to the credit score as the RNG (random number generator)...

Something ELSE must have changed to have a net zero effect.

Yes, I did notice that my current address changed again.

could this of done it ??

I wonder if I check again tommorow, the score would change. maybe it just needs to update??

+2 points for the age of the account
-2 points for the negative influence
    ------------------------------------------------------
    =0 score change

    No...address would have no affect.

Yes...it would be possible to see a score change tomorrow based on the frequency of how your creditors are reporting or other factors described in that chart link...

The MOST common factor for high frequency changes to your score is your debt/credit ratio...

Look carefully for PRECISE changes...amounts, account age, etc...

If nothing REALLY changed...then I would default to the "standard" CreditNet response....

    Hey, it's an RNG...
