Hello, I am new to this site and appreciate you all taking the time to help with questions. I have a question regarding what is put on your credit report after a bankruptcy. My bk was discharged in June 2001 and after looking at my credit report from Trans-Union today, I have a question. Most if not all of the accounts that were included in the bk state that my status for each account is "unrated". Cross Country Bank (2 accounts) however shows this:
***Status as of 05/2000: 120 days past due
***In prior 30 months from date closed 4 times 90 or more days
    ***1 time 60 days, 1 time 30 days late
***Maximum deliquency of 90+ days occurred in 04/2000

Both accounts show the exact same wording!

My question: If they were included in the bankruptcy and that bankruptcy was discharged, are they allowed to put that I'm 120 days past due? Doesnt seem right to me to put that when its been over a year since my discharge date. Maybe I'm wrong, but would one you nice people help me out here? And again, the rest of the accounts all say status is unrated...

Thanks so much for taking the time to read this, Your help is much appreciated.

The issue is not your BK, I would simply challenge the date and status of this account. betcha TU deletes it before you can blink. TU is easy to get stuff deleted.
